It's been quite the year for One Piece fans!

The live-action series arrived earlier this year, introducing Iñaki Godoy as the new Luffy D Monkey and it's just been announced that Netflix is developing another One Piece anime – a reboot of the series.

Meanwhile, the original anime has entered its Egghead arc, offering super exciting new horizons for the show. However, fans are in for a bit of a wait for the next episode.

When will One Piece episode 1,089 come out?

Episode 1,089 will drop on Crunchyroll on Sunday 7th January 2024.

What time do One Piece episodes come out?

The new instalment will be made available to stream internationally via Crunchyroll at the following times:

  • Pacific Time – 6pm on Saturday
  • Eastern Time – 9pm on Saturday
  • UK Time – 2am on Sunday
  • European Time – 3am on Sunday
  • India Time – 7:30am on Sunday
  • Philippine Time – 10am on Sunday
  • Australia Eastern Daylight Time – 1pm Sunday

One Piece release schedule

One Piece episodes are expected to drop on Crunchyroll every Sunday. However, sometimes there are occasional delays.

Below is the expected release schedule for the next few weeks:

  • Episode 1,089 - TBC - 7th January 2024
  • Episode 1,090 - TBC - 14th January 2023
  • Episode 1,091 - TBC - 21st January 2024

How to watch One Piece in the UK

One Piece is available to stream in the UK on the streaming service Crunchyroll.

On Netflix, the 2019 film One Piece: Stampede is also available to stream. A live-action version of One Piece is now available on Netflix, too.
