Before the Rugby World Cup got underway, England fans feared the worst after a disastrous run of warm-up fixtures – but Steve Borthwick's side have ended up acquitting themselves well in the tournament.

Unfortunately, their chances of a second World Cup triumph were ended in heartbreaking fashion with an agonisingly close – and extremely late – loss to defending champions South Africa, but there are still a plenty of positives to take from the campaign.

And there's also a great chance for a consolation prize, as the side takes to the Stade de France pitch one more time to play Argentina in the bronze medal match on Friday night.
